I have a soft spot for rabbits, pun not intended, and the Easter bunny episode of SP is one of my favorite cute-Stan moments on the show. Plus I just love it when you incorporate aspects of the show and its mythology in general, so, yeah, I was basically sold on this idea alone, before I even read it. The wizard Cartman thing was a beautiful touch along those lines. I also have an interest in pastiches and fairy tales and fantasy worlds and how they're constructed, so this was tons of fun to read. It's weird to admit but reading about all the rabbit stuff was so cute to me, ahhhh, especially rabbit Stan humping rabbit Kyle at the end. (You probably guessed that I loved that Kyle got rabbit mpreg and had a litter of four [4!!!] vegetable-loving children he was later able to brag about. Very Kyle.) I love the little references to events in SP mythology, and I got a kick out of Clyde's mom being dead and Shelly/Cartman etc. Clyde with his asses was pretty spot-on, and also that he was selling cabbage, because first of all that's the

Aww, I'm really happy you liked this, and the title of this comment made me happy this morning. I love that episode, too, and the whole association with Stan and bunnies -- slightly OT, but did you play Zelda, a Link to the Past as a kid? There's this alternate universe where the human characters turn into creatures that reflect their souls, and Link turns into a pink bunny rabbit because he's such a sweet boy deep down ;__; That is Stan, to me

I have never actually played any Zelda games! But, that's cute. I really do like bunnies. Chicago's big rodent problem is that we have tons of wild rabbits, and whenever I see them in someone's yard or crossing the sidewalk I chase them like an idiot. This fic appealed to my basest instincts in every sense.

I don't have or use Tumblr, but I do follow yours and I wanted to add to the chorus of voices begging you not to leave the SP fandom. Anons like me suffered just as hard through the most recent episode, but priceless fandom contributions like this are exactly what we need to get through the occasional Kyle-torture bullshit. Over the years, there have been dozens of SP episodes that deeply bothered me (Jared Has Aides and Humancentipad to name a few) but I usually just immediately go through a marathon of top-shelf SP/read fanfiction and never re-watch those upsetting episodes

Thank you so much for this comment, it really really means a lot. I have the same queasiness about episodes that have really gotten to me (those two: yes, if the Aides one is the one with Butters getting lipo or whatever, Christ). I think the fact that the episodes can still bother me so much is a demonstration of my continued investment, but MAN did that one bother me. It was like, specifically tailored to be all the things I hate, like watching a bad Kyle torture fanfic play out.

Writing some h/c usually helps, and I'm working on a story now, with Stan taking care of Kyle after he's been hurt. Thanks so much for the encouragement -- and ahhh, I want to see that king!Stan/subject!Kyle pic! I'll have to ask nhaingen if she can find it on the Booru.

I love doing little fairy tale things like this, so I'm really glad you're into it, and that Stan being a prince here made you think of that art (it sounds so cute). Thanks again for writing me this note, I appreciate it so much.
