saturday night; drunk swimming. i'm lounging and feeling sick and sober. he's getting out of the pool, last, because he's embarrassed of his body.

me: hey. i have a secret to tell you.
him: what?
me: i have a secret to tell you.

he takes longer than expected to get out of the pool. not surprising, i wouldn't want to know this secret either.

maybe if i abuse my body enough i can have a miscarriage and save 400 bucks!

There is an excellent book called Cunt by Inga Muscio. In it, she describes the abortions she has had. For her last one, she decides to do it without the aid of a doctor, and instead through herbal remedies and the 'think method' so to speak (though...I think it was the herbs). It doesn't sound like she abused her body, and I'm sure she saved money through this process.
I'm absolutely positive that there are herbs out there that will aid in the process, but not do damage to your body.
I wish you luck in any decision you make.

i've been recommended to read this book on more than one occasion. and when playing with google while searching for "miscarriage cause" i came across the word 'herbal' quite a few times. i'll pick it up, definitely.

Do be advised that some of the herbal remedies need to be taken VERY soon after ovulation...you may *not* be able to find something to help you at this stage, but you may....I'm not *all* that up on the timelines.

Also...be careful...just because it's an "herb" doesn't mean that it's void of side effects, just like any drug. And herbs can have different potencies, which is why a lot of things are synthetic, because you can control the potency.

Having said that, I'm actually quite supportive of herbal methods of treating ANYTHING (I treat ear infections that way, for example), but it's not something that you can just undertake mostly blindly.
