[ It's been a while since Duke's spoken with Yuri (and he wanted to make sure of their last conversation), and so today's the day Duke headed out to seek Yuri. At some point during the day he can be found breaking into walking into House 12, and coming out a short while later to sit and ponder in the middle of the town. ]

Correct. [ He could leave it at that, but for today he'll go ahead and respond a little more. ]

Were you a member of Brave Vesperia?

I was not; more a client than anything, I suppose. I worked with Yuri Lowell, and Brave Vesperia, in the past.

[ He gives one last look to the journal and, well. That's that. He doesn't have more to say to Albert. ]

[The voice isn't very familiar, though she knows she's seen the man around the village before. She knows enough that it's not someone of Yuri's household, but to make such an announcement...

Mm. [ On his side, he nods his head (or maybe it's just a downward tilt. Both are pretty justifiable descriptions).

He remembers this woman. He's seen her on Yuri's journal as well. ]

[Hasn't Yuri kind of been around forever? Brave Vesperia aside, he's been Zack's longest-standing friend in Luceti.

Geez... talk about big losses. What is it with this week?]

[ Oh, so Zack knew Yuri as well. ] I have no reason to lie.

[ not that he thinks you're implying he does/is lying. ] However, if you wish for proof you need only enter his residence.

[Poor Duke, he never got a roster of Brave Vesperia and now they're his biggest fans.]

No, I'll take your word for it. Damn, though... were you guys friends?

[ A length pause. There was that one time Yuri smiled at him and said SEE YA AROUND. Did that count as friendship? He hesitated to call it such, his last friend was Elucifur.

And that guy died.

Half to himself, half to Zack: ] Friendship? ... perhaps that is what it was.

[...he gets the news. Not one but two annoyances have gone home. Two very key people for the most part here in this place too.

Their long reigning influence of this place, gone. Oh yes, he was pleased by this news...as long as he doesn't think about them having the option of returning home and continuing on with their lives. Then it just feels more like a...no, it's good riddance to them that they're gone.

He won't rub it in anyone's face though. It's not worth it.]
