Dear Seeing Color creator,
Hi! Sorry this is a smidge late. I'm really, really excited to see whatever you come up with - all the characters I've nominated are characters I adore, and I'm thrilled to see whatever you do with them. Optional details are optional! If there's an idea that's grabbed your brain, go for it.
If you want to get a sense of general likes and dislikes:
Likes: Happy or mostly happy endings. This is really the big one; I'll read a lot of things as long as it doesn't end in misery. Other than that, I enjoy a lot of things: canon-based fics, complete AUs, canon-divergence AUs, gen, romance, established relationship, getting together, serious vs funny vs fluff vs angsty, etc. Some guarantees are: competence, found family, banter/flirting, character studies, domesticity, codependence, people knowing each other really well, friendship, character development, messy emotions leaking everywhere, awesome ladies, trope subversion, shenanigans.
Dislikes: Humiliation, infidelity, character death, non-con, domestic violence, misogyny. Also I'm not big on huge age differences.

Fast and the Furious Series
Characters: Gisele Harabo & Han Lue
I love Gisele and Han SO MUCH. I love the way that when we first meet them, they come across as people who in a lot of ways are really alone and holding parts of themselves back, and then they meet and forge this incredibly solid relationship despite everything. I love that Gisele deals with a lot of overcompensating men and Han isn't, and I love that he so clearly loves all of her sharp edges.
So obviously canon is simultaneously a gift and a curse for me. I will read pretty much ANYTHING about Han and Gisele as long as they don't die, whether that means it needs to be a complete AU, canon divergence, or scenes of them set within canon but before the end of Fast 5. How they first got together, adventures they got up to around the world, conversations that they've had with the rest of the team, whatever. I also love the rest of those losers they call a team, so if you want to work Team Toretto in there in some way, I'm perfectly happy with that.
Community
Characters: Troy Barnes & Abed Nadir; Shirley Bennett
Troy & Abed: Community is the sitcom most likely to make me cry, and Troy and Abed are the characters most likely to make me cry about Community. I love how they started off such different people but became so important to each other, and how they know each other so well but on the flipside that means they know exactly how to hurt each other. I love that Abed was so upset about Troy leaving that he got the entire school into a lavapocalypse just to keep him from leaving. (I also love that Troy is the repair-messiah, while we're at it, although that's less about them as a duo, to be fair.) So I'd really just... love to read pretty much anything about their relationship, whether it's platonic or romantic, in the main world or in the darkest timeline, shenanigans or serious. I'd definitely love to read fic set after Troy's departure, since I feel like that wasn't addressed in the show as much - Abed writing letters? Troy getting captured by pirates? Troy's homecoming? - but honestly, I'm really, really easy for these two, particularly if it involves the ensemble in some way.
Shirley: I love Shirley. She's funny and a little bit judgmental and caring but occasionally incredibly overbearing and sometimes she's only barely managing to hold herself together, and I love that she knows she's been a mess and she's trying to steer herself completely in the opposite direction, even if it sometimes all seems to go wrong. I'd love to see something about her relationships with any of the other members of the study group.
Craft Sequence, by Max Gladstone
Character: Tara Abernathy
Honestly, I don't have specifics for this one, I would just read about Tara doing pretty much ANYTHING. Pre-canon, with her at school? Post-canon, with her and Elayne? Pulling in different characters from the series? Epic adventures or quiet moments? I am ALL GOOD. Tara is so wonderful - she's still figuring herself out but you can tell that she has a spine of steel, and her moments of triumph in Three Parts Dead were SO SATISFYING. I could read about Tara destroying assholes who underestimate her all day.
Captive Prince, by CS Pacat
Character: Damen
Oh man, Damen. Damen is my favorite character in the Captive Prince series. He grows/learns so much over the course of the series, but he has such a strong and stalwart heart and instinct towards kindness, and he loves so fiercely. He's also an incredibly competent leader and good at thinking on his feet - and good at not letting certain things get overcomplicated, unlike certain other characters I could name *cough cough*. (And I loooove that two of the cleverest, most calculating characters in the series are kind of stymied by their emotions about him.) I'd love to see something that highlights any of these elements. Anything involving Damen's relationship with Nikandros is great (SORRY ABOUT YOUR LIFE, NIKANDROS), and obviously I love my codependent hypercompetent future husbands and co-kings, who can go from destroying lives together to insulting each other to getting involved in completely ridiculous adventures involving stupid fake names, and who are so very fond of each other. Basically, fic that loves Damen like I love Damen, be it AU or set before/during/after canon.
