My, it seems like time moves so quickly here Before I even knew it, over two weeks of classes had already passed! I am very glad to see all of my students making such fine progress though. It's a cute species of algae that only grows in Japan, Estonia, and Iceland. I don't want to order one online, so I'll have to wait until I have a vacation. They have them in Hokkaido.

XD! Like I mentioned in class, sodium is actually a metal, and a bigger piece will only result in a bigger explosion! The reaction between sodium and water produces sodium hydroxide and hydrogen gas. It's actually the gas that combusts when the heat from the reaction reaches it's peak. A bigger piece of sodium means a larger reaction area, and then it melts and boils and then DOKAN! Or something like that. XD
