I'm now sitting here attempting to finish up a midterm while waiting for President Obama's address . . . This is all so strange and surreal to me. News of a violent death that was preceded by unimaginable amounts of suffering and hundreds of thousands of other deaths is something that will never make me feel happy, victorious or celebratory.

I guess it's a bit different from the other side of the world. the first time I saw the towers in one piece was the last - I didn't even know they existed before their destruction.
I wonder if this will change anything. where do we go from here? And fuckitall, will these wars EVER end?

I get what you mean though...nobody wins. Not even a tie. Everyone loses in the end. YOu'd think we would have figured that out by now...yanno after centuries of war.
Btw who could ever FORGET 9/11...sorry unless you were in a coma or something you'd have to be pretty out of the loop to manage that.
