Interesting link. Thanks. I have a good friend who was raped while in the military. I don't think they should have ever made the military co-ed.

Here's my anti-war quote:

"If men want to oppose war, it is statism that they must oppose. So long as they hold the tribal notion that the individual is sacrificial fodder for the collective, that some men have the right to rule others by force, and that some (any) alleged 'good' can justify it--there can be no peace within a nation and no peace among nations." Ayn Rand

Male-male sexual assault goes up in times of conflict, in the military, etc. as well. It's just that it's even more underreported because there is so much shame (wrongfully) attached to it. The problem is really a culture that promotes violence and fails to both prevent and prosecute crimes of sexual violence and crimes against social minorities.

I really like that Ayn Rand quote. :-) Thank you for sharing!

You may enjoy her most well known book, Atlas Shrugged. I just read it. It was so good. It is very long and complex, but a worthwhile read.
