December 22 (Thursday) ~ At a grocery store (1:03 p.m.)

Kira stood in the grocery store looking at his choices of onion he had to pick from. It was his fault for waiting so close to the holiday to go shopping but he wanted to make a special dinner for when his boyfriend Masao came over. They were not going out like most couples would on the lover’s holiday, Masao was worried about people seeing them

Standing on tip-toes, Miki wormed his fingers around a crate that was resting on top of the fixture. The crate was filled with what was left of vegetables to replenish. With the holiday approaching, it was hard to keep things stocked on the shelf. His boss ordered more than their usual shipments, but even those weren't staying stocked long. Because of this, Miki was forced to pull the heavy crates of overstock down more often than he would have hoped too. He kept hoping a delivery request would come in, but most of their usual's would have already began dinner prep by now

Kira had heard the commotion before he made it to the fish section and watched the scene sadly. It was people like that that Masao felt the need to hide their relationship and it made him sad. As the group dispersed Kira rushed to Kimura's side. "Are you okay sempai?" Kira asked as he held his hand out to help him up.

Miki gratefully took Kira's hand as he pulled himself back onto his feet, his face red with embarrassment. "Yeah, I'll be okay. Thanks," he said, rubbing his throbbing knees. "People that them shouldn't exist in the world," he complained as he started picking up the fallen overstock.

"Yeah but they do, a lot of them." Kira felt bad for Miki he was out of the closet but didn't have much support and Kira felt the need to offer it for him.

"It is hard, especially right after you come out. I know but if you need someone there to help you I been through it all." Kira offered him a smile.
