I'm going to be going through my LJ friends list and pretty much sorting out who I know and who I don't really know. I've decided to really crack down on keeping my private entries just among people I do know, so I will be unfriending some people. Thanks, I appreciate your understanding. I'm thinking of creating a separate fic LJ to help with the fic monitoring. I'll post something soon on it in case you'll be interested in joining. Thanks again! ^^

That's not a bad idea. All the people who friended you for the fics would be able to join that LJ. Either a journal or a comm. Either would be a good choice.

I'll join that too. ^^ The idea that nekojita gave is a good one too.

But... if you keep your fic updates public, people can still keep you friended to get those, whether you've friended them or not. It only means they won't be able to read your friends-locked entries any more.

Just saying, because that's how I manage my f-list and fic updates and it works fine without the need of a second journal.

Maybe create some filters? I know I have a posting filter and a friends filter, and tend to post the more private stuff on one and general fic stuff on the other. *hugs*

Oh, I forgot about the filters! I've never used them though. Are they hard to use/create? Guess I'll have to read up on them to see if I can figure it all out. Thanks for the suggestion, Neko! *hugs back*

They're pretty easy to create (the most effort is picking who to put in them) and use. Let me know if you need any help.
