Markham Visit

I visited Markham Middle School today, the school that I will be working at full-time this fall as a 6th grade Language Arts/Social Studies teacher (assuming things don't change). The school is HUGE, spanning about four blocks and containing approximately 2,000 students. My entire high-school only had about 550 students, so the size of Markham was

Glad to hear that 'tis all going well. My graduating class was 2,000 students, and I remember thinking that was small.

yeah. i have to work with 5th, 6th and seventh graders tomorrow. as i mentioned, im nervous.

my first high school had 3600 kids, the second one had 1800.
