So, my mom calls me this morning, at about 11 or so. Get this:

SHE IS DONE WITH CHEMO!!!!

The doc told her at her morning appointment. She is doing really well, and her chemotherapy is not really making much of a difference anymore. So they're going to take her off chemo and her steroids, and give her a drug that will get rid of any estrogen left

Thanks, hon! *smoochers* Um, it turns out I was talking out of my ass - my sister gets back from her trip tomorrow, not next week. She just called me, and I told her my mom's good news. I'm not sure if I was supposed to say anything or if my mom wanted to tell her - oops. So my lovely sister promised to act surprised when my mom tells her.
