Heard from Dad today. Apparently the store suffered some damage this week. The front window was shattered in and there was some more damage to the outside, but luckily it was mostly cosmetic, from what I can gather.
He said they could see it happening from the window and to say it didn't look good was an understatement. Curses were flying everywhere and at least one person went down with a Killing Curse.
I hate to say it because people died, but I'm glad it wasn't my parents. I mean, loads of people have lost parents, but I'm grateful not to be one of them.
Fortescue's is going to be reopened by Hallowe'en. Just heard from my dad, in case anyone was worried.
