Maybe I should've been suspicious of the snow from the beginning. It is rather strange, what with it being summer and the snow being gold. But this, just because I was careless? This is just cruel

I, uh, didn't mean to offend you. I guess I wouldn't mind so much if I had had them all my life, but I usually have blue eyes.

...And I think there's something wrong with my eyes now. Light hurts them. It's rather hard to read in the dark.

Oh, but you shouldn't anyway. That's bad for your eyes. You'll need glasses!

I thought it was disproved that reading in the dark gave you eye damage. Besides, I can't really turn the lights on. I don't deal well with pain.
