so I was talking with born_crooked's player, shortly after writing some tags for this thread, and then I went mildly flaily to show justification for some of the things Mello does. I often worry about how well I'm handling his character, so I think it was good to be able to get this down in writing, and I'm gonna save the bit of conversation here for both my

dfbadsbfamdfs I worry all the time about Creepy too. DDDX I think he's too... asshole-ish and less creepy. Or I might be playing up the crazy and losing the snark-geeky goodness.

I think your Mello is very spot-on actually; and yes, he's very human. I think canon Mello would act like yours.

Umm... I guess the only critique I can give is... your Mello is the disturbed one, right? He-he doesn't seem that disturbed to me. ;;; Or maybe what makes him "disturbed" is his extra niceness/mature attitude? Or something idk. @___@

As for his disturbed attitude! That mostly shows in his sadism; canon Mello is ruthless, but this Mello is moreso. He's also more obsessive over certain things - he obsesses over Belphegor like he knows and realizes he shouldn't, and he obsesses over Near in both the ways that canon Mello does, and a few additional ways, too.

It's not come out a whole lot yet, but I believe as the plot advances some, it'll show more and more. :3

I think you're doing great <3 I mean, yeah, he is a little bit soft as Mellos go, but he's Disturbed. He's supposed to be different than the conventional Mello, and I think you really bring that out. <3
