As the summer winds down I've gotten into reflective mode. Looking back everything seems to have gone pretty well. I made it to the beach-not often, but I did get there more than once, so I already have last summer beat. I got to know the Brooklyn bus routes a bit, too, which has come in handy on occasion. i think if we take into account the place where stuff goes to die and the coupons from before the fall of the berlin wall, you are genetically predisposed to keep lots of stuff and not clean it. really, when you take your parents into account, your room is a miracle.

It's really become beastly of late though, highlighted by my recent hair-raising "search for the missing birth control patches" which apparently had fallen off my bed and landed at the foot of it. I thought I had looked there, but maybe I just couldn't see through all the crap-it took Bob about 30 seconds to locate one for me. Although its sister patch remains at large...
My new plan (replacing the old paln of half an hour of cleaning a day, which lasted less than one day since I decided I could split time and do more on certain days, uh, yeah right) is to throw out lots of shit when I'm off the week of the RNC and Bob is in Europe. We shall see.
