My Aunt B. is so awesome I don't even have words for it.  Last night we stayed up until 11 talking about my stories and gothic lolita and yaoi.  I wish she had a computer so that we could talk more.  But seriously, I told her about KH and she was INTERESTED in the Nobodies.  And she's a fellow Trekkie who could see my logic in the SpockxKirk/McCoy/ ( Read more... )

Yeah, I'm really having a blast. Today grandma and I are going to eat breakfast at this Victorian hotel, and then we're off to the fabric store so I can start making my own clothes :D

Is is possible for you to loan your Aunt out to others?

I can't talk about anything fun...or even anything liberal... with anyone...and I mean anyone...in my entire family.

I can't even use SUPAH BIG SMARTY PANTS words like 'concise' without getting stared or laughed at by some.

I wish it were so, I really do. Perhaps you could clone yourself and then have someone awesome to talk to?
It's only a few members of my family I can connect with, most only seem to smile and nod at me. But they're entertained by my story ideas, so I guess I'm very lucky in that regard. u.u

...concise is not a big smarty pants word. I knew that word in MIDDLE SCHOOL. What is your family ON?! Whatever it is, it should be made illegal throughout this galaxy u.u

Heh, me and a clone of myself would get up to no good, surely. :>

I KNOW. I've gotten such reactions for words like 'inherent', 'arbitrary' and anything resembling 'Darwin.' Especially that last one. We are talking super white bread conservative American family here. D: D: D:

...They don't like DARWIN?! You poor thing! I wish I could adopt you into my family, where only a small bit of us are super white bread conservative Americans! JOIN THE LUKES!
