It has been over a year since I realized that certain foods were just not tolerated by my body. We found two levels of this. First there are the 'if I eat it I'll get an upset stomach, but that's it' foods: anything fried, greasy foods, any leafy greens, and peas. The more I've worked to cut it out of my diet the less corn it takes for me to notice I've eaten it

Yep. :/
I, of course, am not only food-allergic. I can break out with prolonged contact and by simply breathing particles in. A coworker of mine had some obscure corn-derived ingredient in her hand lotion that made my throat start to swell.
It's gotten to the point where I almost panic at the thought of not being allergic, because where would all of that time / focus / energy go? Whatever would I do with myself?

So anytime you want or need to talk about DevilCorn, I'm here for you.

My BFF is severely allergic to tomatoes. And I thought that was a pain in the ass food allergy. Through her, I learned that even without "Tomato" on the label, that doesn't mean it's tomato-free. It can be one of those "other natural ingredients." But corn. Wow. Corn syrup is in everything.

Good luck with stepping down from your meds!
