[ Martel's face lightens up at the sight of Naoto. It's been awhile since she last spoke to her. ]

[Ah-it has been quite some time since they last spoke, hasn't it? She gives a soft smile in return]

[ She grasps her hands in excitement at the sight of Kuzunoha. ]

What an adorable dog! Where did you find him?

This morning I spotted him right outside of my building. I was quite surprised to see him.

[Seeing as how he looks like a younger version of her dog back home]

[ She kneeled down to pet Kuzunoha. ]

Why were you so surprised? Is he from your world?

[fortune_prince]

[Oh boy oh boy petting! He wags his tail and lets the green haired woman pet him]

He resembles my dog back home, though obviously much younger.

How fortunate of you. So does that mean he's the same dog?

[fortune_prince]

I highly doubt it. The Malnosso would have no purpose for bringing an ordinary dog here.

[But it's nice nonetheless]

Yes, but this is an ordinary dog if I'm not mistaken. Also there's a chance that this is your dog but only younger. It's not uncommon to have people from the same world but different times so it shouldn't be any different with animals.

[fortune_prince]

That is true so I suppose it's possible. [Just staring at this dog makes her feel a little homesick. Her grandfather and dog are waiting for her at home.]

Did you care for any animals back in your world, Martel-san?

[ Noishe's panting and happy face appears in mind. ]

Yes, there was this one animal that my companions and I have traveled with. Though animal is a rather crude way to describe him. Noishe is as intelligent as you and I.

What type of creature was this Noishe?

[seraphgoddess]

He was a protozoan. Protozoans are the first race to exist in my world. He's a creature guided by mana and changes form for his entire life. Currently, he's in his canine form.

I see. Is he here with you?

[seraphgoddess]

Unfortunately, no. But I'm sure he's fine with whoever he's with right now.

[ And that someone is most likely Lloyd and Martel has no worries about that. Also she's certain that whatever trouble the boy gets into Noishe will save him without hesitation. ]

I assume that he must be with his master. Does he care for him well?

[She doesn't know who it would be so she's just curious]
