[Anyone out for a nice crack-of-dawn morning walk might see Yuan, making his way into the village. He doesn't have any visible injuries but it's obvious he's having trouble walking. Every step is more like a swaying stagger and at times he even has to close his eyes in concentration to make sure he doesn't keel over. He's determined to get to his ( Read more... )

[we're sure we are just the person you wanted to see, Yuan~]

...Yuan?

[Oh yes, Yuan just loves running into people he knows when he's injured. The fact that he cringes slightly at the sound of his name proves as much.]

[don't worry, she won't mock you until you've recovered enough to enjoy it!]

Need a hand?

[Well, that's better than nothing. Of course, being himself, he won't accept any help. Damn him and his pride.]

I'm fine. I just need to... get home.

[A crack-of-dawn morning walk, huh? Sounds like something Albert would do in a pod-people alternate future.

In any case, he's walking along when he spots Yuan.]

Finally returned to us, I see.

[Well, at least Albert's somewhat used to seeing him in a bad shape, by now. Yuan still hasn't forgotten his first Malnosso kidnapping. This is actually pretty mild compared to what they did back then.]

How long has it been?

[Albert walks closer as he answers, still taking in Yuan's condition.] Almost two weeks. Several others abducted have returned before you.

How are you feeling?

Two weeks...

[He casts his gaze to the ground for a moment. Somehow, it felt a lot shorter than that. Of course, he can't really remember. Kidnappings tend to leave his head foggy and devoid of proper memories. Well, let's meet Albert's eyes again.]

It could be a lot worse, considering how long I was gone.

[Sleep and Emil have not been getting along well at all lately, which is why he's up at this hour just wandering around the village and keeping an eye out for people who have been returned from kidnappings. That would be you, Yuan.]

Um, Yuan...?

[Oh snap it's that Ratatosk kid. It looks like he's in his human personality, but he could still be a threat. Especially now that Yuan's in no state to fight back should something happen.]

Yes?

Are you all right? You don't look too good-- um, no offense or anything.

[He's one to talk; he doesn't look that great himself either.]

I'm fine. I just need to rest.

[So he says as he's still leaning against that tree, trying not to lose his balance and fall over.]

[As it just so happens, Zoisite was just heading out to grab some groceries when he spotted that familiar blue head of hair in the distance... Unfortunately, for both his schedule and the man himself, he seems hurt, so the shitennou's going to be jogging towards him.]

Yuan?

[He's not sure whether he should be happy to see Zoisite or not. He was bound to run into the guy when he arrived at his house anyway, but somehow he'd rather have the liberty of slumping down on the couch and not getting up for a few hours opposed to standing here, leaning against a tree with difficulty.]

Zoisite.

[Deal with it. Zoisite's just wondering how the hell you keep getting into these situations. He's not waiting for an explaination, god knows you're probably uncomfortable out here and he doesn't want to run into the rabbit.]

Here. Lean on me. You're... let's get you home.

[He'd argue with that but... Oh, to hell with it. At least Zoisite isn't trying to take him to the clinic. Home sounds so good right now, he'll accept that help and trust the guy not to make any stupid comments. Leaning is pretty necessary, but he can't move away from the tree so he simply holds out his arm, waiting for Zoisite to take it.]
