I'm sure by now you've all noticed the intruders have wings and would be perfectly capable of using them. The threat's been diverted for the time being, but we need to continue being cautious. Once there's another breach it'll be a matter of a few days, if not less, until they reach the village. It's best to be prepared when this happens. While the ( Read more... )

Are you a member of either faction, or do you have any other obligations in the village to tend to in case of an emergency?

No associations and no obligations. I can move freely.

Alright, I'll make a note of it.

I told Vyse I'd help the Blue Rogues out, but it sounds like you might need me for this, too.

At the moment, you're completely free to help the Blue Rogues with their duties. We won't have need for anti-air measures until the intruders breach the barrier again, which apparently could be any time from next week to next year.

[[OOC: Ffft, I know I said I'd post with Vyse, but it took me 45 minutes just to write this one up, thanks to a horrible migraine. The Blue Rogues are helping out with the barricade around the village, so Genis can help out there if he wants.]]

Understood. You know where to find me, should the time comes right?

[ooc: fff, don't worry about it o/ and sure thing, Genis will be off helping with the barricade no problem. :)]

How often do your guns need to be reloaded?

I can use just 'bout any gun we got here that's a semi ta full automatic. I can throw fire and light bombs that have been thrown or launched. I can make the bombs too.

[Duo doesn't really like letting people know what he can do, just in case he might need it against them, but oh well. This is more important.]

I doubt we can risk using bombs, considering we'd still be close to the village. Sticking with guns would be more efficient.

What's your name?

They don't have ta be big ones. Actually, with what I got here ta use, I don't know if I could make a big one that I could still throw. I can make bombs with oil that'll explode on contact and burn what it lands on. You could use that instead.

Duo Maxwell. I'm the guy runnin' Azzip and who razed it to the ground once.

[Exclaiming how you destroyed your own pizza place isn't exactly a good promotional campaign for those bombs, Duo.]

Alright. I'll add you to the list.

Danmaku is the basic projectile magic in my world. I can literally cover the sky in bullets if need be.

Even with the barrier's dampening effect on our abilities in place?

They are non-fatal in nature no matter the world they exist in. Perhaps they will be weaker, but I can still produce enough to "direct" the enemy where you would want them.

The purpose of danmaku isn't to aim, after all, but to flood.

So basically, you could create a "barrier" of bullets to keep them at bay for a short while?
