For what it's worth, I think what you are going through is totally normal. Or at least, it is pretty much what I go through each time I go home too. I've been kind of sad the whole time I've been home because I really hate being far from family. It's hard to enjoy it when it all seems so bittersweet. You just have to do what is right for you though, you know?
