i found airtran tickets to the bahamas for $260 roundtrip!!!  but i'm workiiiiiiiiing on the only days that the flights actually work out!  arghhhhhh.  i will make this work, i am going to make this work.

Dude, let me know where the cheap Bahamas tickets are - I need to get to the Caribbean to visit Simran, and I haven't been able to find anything for under $700.

you have to play around with the dates a little bit, but i found tickets from Dulles to Grand Bahama Island (no clue if this is near simran though!) for $99 one way and $124 the other way - prices are listed as one-way, not roundtrip. if you don't want to fly super discounted coach, go to www.sidestep.com to compare prices of flights, or to priceline to bid on a price for a flight. do NOT pay $700, because i'm sure you can find something for $200-$300!
