You found Elly's swimsuit! (I had the same one in 1981!). :)

I got a kick out of your repeated use of "pornstache" in your descriptions of Phil's outfits....

Thanks! I couldn't resist. Phil in his bathing suit looks like he escaped from Boogie Nights. I just couldn't resist and had to stick the 1979 Pattersims into the neighbourhood, but Connie's little household couldn't afford even the tiniest house. Fortunately, there's a supply of little shacks in the game's library, so she could afford one of those ereceted on a cheap lot around the corner. Now to sit back and see if Phil and Connie meet. Connie's a hopeless romantic and a flirt whose lifetime ambition is to have at least ten love interests; Phil is a flirt and a great kisser with a dream of being a master of the arts (maxing out music and art skills). They can meet, but I don't think they are compatible for a long-term relationship. That's not to say that Lawrence might not get a half-sister or half-brother before it ends, though.

In unrelated news, I found that Phyllis Diller letter again. Is this the one you couldn't find when you went back to look for it? There's also the fax which preceded it.

I'll be curious to know what develops between PhilSim and ConnieSim. :)

The fax to Phyllis Diller (the second link) was what I was trying to find recently, since it reminded me of the story you'd recounted about LJ inviting herself and Rod over to Watterson's house. Thanks for linking those--I was having no success finding them for some reason.

I Googled "Phyllis Diller" "Lynn Johnston" to find it -- I wanted to see if there was anything to nab for my letter from Aunt Phyllis Dillon.

Yes, I'd like to find out if I can make PhilSim and ConnieSim interact without having to play as either of them. I think if I invite them both to my house, then engage one in conversation, I can also invite the other to join in, then if I back out, they might talk to one another and I can take photos of what happens next.
