4 years later I am finally seeing this.

Liz as nitpicker is an interesting way to go. There are elements of that part of the character in the comic strip, particularly in the Eric Chamberlain series when Liz was constantly on Eric about something or another she wanted him to do. That was the only domestic Liz we ever go to see as it was the only time we saw her living with a boyfriend. It makes sense that she would pick some of that back up when she settled in with Anthony.
