People in LA are so nice, I've already gotten one free cab ride, a free car ride, and two people gave me 50 cents for the bus cus the busses don't have change and neither do I, and they wouldn't let me pay them back. Although it's a real adventure going to school and home again since we don't know anything about the busses, our classmate had to ( Read more... )

Most people are very nice, but please be careful, there are many creeps in LA. NEVER hitchhike or accept rides from strangers, not here in LA please. Buses will always want exact change. Cab driver are usualy decent, but don't count on it. Glad you are having fun though, just keep safe.

Oyé! I'm 30-60 min drive north of you. Santa Barbara.

Tis kinda funny you'd mention the language thing... I leave Sweden, go halfway 'round the globe, any further and I'd be getting closer to Sverige, I step into my room for the first time..and heard swedish... There's a lot of swedes up here, most of the people I hang with are swedish as well. Oh well, guess I'm improving my swedish more now than I ever did back home.

How come you're only there till the 29th?

I'm here for college/uni... It's pretty cool up here, slightly crazy, but in a good way as far as I'm concerned.

Ahh... dads & cat & boyfriend. And Visa. All legitimate reasons. Oh well. Too bad you can't get a visit up here. 's crazy. In a good way. I think you might like it. Well, if you ever decide to visit L.A. anytime soon after you leave, I'm gonna be sure to drag you up here. People are, err, "slightly social". To put it lightly.

Yeah I like it. It's a big change from what I'd been living with in Sweden, in a goof way. I'm definitly enjoying myself here... Perhaps a lil' too much. Screw it, I like it here.

How're you liking it?
