Ok, wait...what? David Foster Wallace hanged himself?! That's utterly appalling and not at all the water-logged disaster I expected to find newsworthy today. I don't usually get too bent out of shape over celebrity deaths, but this one kind of punched me in the gut. I've always felt a strong connection to DFW and he he's one of my favorite writers
