Maybe this has already been addressed, but is anyone else disappointed in the new voices for Mac and Bloo? I complain a lot, so I tend to rethink everything I complain about just long enough to see the good in it. However, the voices still outweigh the good in bad

Ok, my credits of "Cheese a Go Go" were unreadable so I checked "The Buck Swaps Here" and as always Keith Ferguson and Sean Marquette as Bloo and Mac.

I'm pretty sure the voice actors haven't changed. I think the kid who voices Mac went through puberty, hence the change in how he sounds.

Eh, Mac's VA is 19, around my age (I'm 20), so he's already gone through puberty.

@Original poster, the voice actors didn't change, otherwise there would have been talk about it on the fan sites I go to. Sure, they sound a bit different since the first episode, but that's normal, as the voice actors get more comfortable and figure out just the right voice for their character.

I saw some episodes labelled "new" whose voices were both different. Maybe they just did it for a few episodes? I remember very well the change because I thought "omg they changed it why???" and whatnot.

I have seen a few episodes where I thought Bloo's voice sounded a little more high pitched or something. It seems to be the earlier episodes, I *think*. I was wondering if they started the show out with one voice actor, then eventually changed to the one we hear now? I don't know. Just something I have noticed.

Bloo's voice didn't match; how so?

Eh, you say it (the "changes") like it's a bad thing. They sound better to me than they did in earlier episodes. In Sean Marquette's case, he's 19, so for him to go through puberty and still be the man behind Mac's voice is a wonderful thing. As for Keith Ferguson, I believe the man had found a more suitable pitch for Bloo's character, and he feels a lot more comfortable with it. In the older episodes, Bloo had a deeper voice than he does now.
