Just before Christmas I received an e-mail at a Christian site from a guy who wished me a Merry Christmas and wondered how I was doing. After that first e-mail we have kept on writing to each other and we are so much alike that it's really scary. What differs is our age (but only with seven years, I just found out) and our religion. My friend Emelie has contaminated me with the VM-virus (to all Swedes: not VM as in Världsmästerskap). The Veronica Mars-virus has finally reached me too. As I live in Sweden, they haven't actually start sending it yet and will not do so until this spring. My little town, Linköping, may be small but it is not free from the extreme Right (and so that there will be no misunderstandings: the extreme Right in Sweden is the same as Nazi and Racistic parties). When I biked to work this morning it was about 1 degree Celsius and, I thought, raining. But when I parked my bike and looked up at the lamp post closest to me the rain seemed very strange. Yesterday was yet another day at work. As I work with elderly who live either home in their own apartments or at a block of service flats at is a rather varying job. This particularly Sunday I had the "food car" on my list of things to do and people to visit. And since Sunday, of course, is a weekend I was supposed to drive that car all alone. ( Read more... )
