As I write this, it is nearly 9pm.

I have been at work since 7:30am. This means that I left the house around 6:30am.

It's the middle of summer. I left for work in the dark, I'm going home in the dark.

This feels so much like winter that it's not funny.

I walked out of work the other day to get my kids and said to myself, "That's odd; it's light out."

On the other hand, I wander in late too, so I still get to see daylight on at least one end of the day.
