I've certainly been getting a lot done this week, even though I've been working stupid hours. Mostly because I have to.
Tuesday night, it was "purchase new lawnmower". I also discovered that I had no clean forks (or anything else - when you work as much as I have been, and you have no dishwasher, the dishes pile up), which annoyed me.
Last night, obviously, I got home and went right to bed, so nothing doing there.
But this morning...I woke up at 5:30, unprompted. I was going to shower and head right into work but decided instead that I was sick of never getting anything done around the house, and it was *getting done NOW*.
Three loads of laundry folded and put away. Another load of laundry run through the washer and put in the dryer to dry before I get home.
Both wells of the sink were cleared of dirty dishes, including all the silverware that was dirty. I now have at leave one clean version of everything (fork, plate, etc). After that, I filled one of the wells back up with more dirty ones, which got half my counter space and all of my table space in the kitchen cleaned off. Yeah, I had a lot piled up.
I also got sick of never being able to have any dry canvas at home at the same time I was, so I dragged the (damp) yurt wall inside and spread it all over the dining room. I also dragged one of the large (still soaked) tarps in and spread it over the basement. Both should theoretically be dry by tonight, and I can consider dragging other tarps and more canvas inside.
Hell, if I manage to make it before the storms tonight, I may have real dry canvas *outside* that I can fold and put away.
Not likely.
I did all this plus dress and shower between 5:30 and 7am this morning. How I managed all that, I have no idea. I also managed to get a full can of food into Fuzzy-butt, who's been constantly bolting his food and puking. One quarter of the can every fifteen minutes seems to work pretty well.
