See I was thinking about buying my own land but I can't call it "Erin" becasue that is Gaelic for Ireland.

I like your C.S. Lewis quote because I thought that same thing when I read your entry. Although we were already friends. But it's nice anyways. I want to be Nerisish also. I was really excited when I came over here, because I kind of had this picture of me as the modern-day Hemingway-style expatriate launching into the world to find her place in it. But it's like we learned in class: other nationalities can't be joined, they must be born-into. Damn.
