Those who have read my mum's post will already know that I got my place at the Courtauld. I shan't boast but I am pretty chuffed :) I have to get 65% which is pretty do-able I think. This is such good news, as anyone experiencing the recession will know - there just aren't many jobs out there for graduates, especially art history grads! So I can ( Read more... )

This is tremendous news. Well done! So the gaffette went in your favour. I thought it might. Shows you have something they can teach you and aren't too high to be taught. Potential is the thing, and you have that by the bucket-load.

So, for the others? Go through the motions, would be my advice, if nothing else for the experience for job interviews later and the joy of turning them down (if you want to) when the time comes. Now that would be a whole bucket-ful of smug to dine out on for a while!
