Apparently 16th century Italian is not the same as modern. Who knew? And since I don't know modern Italian I can't translate the older stuff either. Bye bye Boccaccio. Was nice holding a 430 yr old book though :)

Oh dear. Is a modern translation no use, then? Still, it is pretty impressive being able to hold a book that old.

Will it bugger up the dissertation?

Well if there were a modern translation it would be very useful! I can't find one yet though. hum. will ask tutor tomorrow. did you get my buffy message? it's a very amusing 45mins if you haven't already seen it. although knowing you then you have. Will be leaving the library soon... been here since 11.30.... :( xxx
