Well, it's done. My dissertation is 100% finished and handed in. How good it actually was will remain to be seen. I thought it was alright, could easily have written another 10,000 words on the topic (well, I say EASILY) so it felt a little cramped at times but I think that's normal. My dissertation is 100% finished and handed in.

Our copy arrived today. All are suitably impressed.

I'm only allowed 1000 calories a day

That is really not good for you. It's a sudden weight-loss régime, the sort that tends to lead to yo-yo weight patterns. And it's not enough to allow you to maintain energy and concentration while you are revising. Let alone enough to sustain massive work-out effort.

I disapprove. Had you guessed.

Love you lots, baby. Please look after yourself. You're the only Frances I've got.

I have to agree with yer mum on this. 2000 calories minimum, and 2500 if you are exercising a lot. You need to feed the weight loss, oddly, or you go into starvation survival mode.

Aim to lose only a sensible amount at a loss rate of 1-2lbs a week and NO MORE! Some weeks you lose a little more, some you stay still. Average it out over at least a month.

And well done on getting that dissertation in. I just LOOOOOVED the feeling of freedom when mine hit the tutor's in tray!

Good luck with the philosophy. I always hated Phil of Ed - complete waste of time, I felt.
