Well, when she gets into it, she'll have a three-room jobbie - separate kitchen and bathroom/shower/loo. So it's one up on a bedsit and has its own front door. You can even find it on Google street view!

Aha! 'Studio flat'. Anne Marie has lived in one in Balham for 20 or more years. She even has a hall between the front door and the main room and bathroom. Kitchen is a bit like a cupboard, mind... But it works.
