What's the first song you remember singing? Probably "Morning Has Broken" in church when i was about 3.
Who's the first band/singer you were a fan of? When i was a kid i really liked the Eagles
Who was your favorite band/singer when you were little? (Before school.) same as above. i also loved Cat Stevens (little= 7 yrs old)
Was your favorite band/singer also your parent's favorite? my mom listened to them, but her fave back then was Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings!
What was the first record/CD you ever bought? the soundtrack to "Annie" i was 8
Who was your favorite in elementary school? elementary? same as above, but by 5th grade i was really loving Cyndi Lauper and Culture Club
Middle school? 7th grade my favorites were the Beastie Boys, Duran Duran, Madonna (her first few albums), Def Leppard and Run DMC.
High school? gee, tough one...NKOTB of course!
Now? i listen to everything. always have. the ones above were only my "favorites", but i still listenend to it all. right now i'm LOVING Jason Mraz, he's just incredible. but i still love the old stuff: Beatles, Pink Floyd, ROlling STones, and the newer alternative bands...anything!
What music has influenced you the most? definitely the Blues. that will forever remain my favorite music style. its the base for most of the different genres out there now. and it's always been my best therapy
Which band/singer that you liked as a kid do you still like? i still like all the old stuff i used to love. i may laugh at some of it, but i still like it
Did you ever have a great music teacher in school? my music teacher was a dork. i can't remember his name. but he kinda gave me the creeps.
What song would you like to be able to sing really well, only once in your life? i would just love to be able to sing...PERIOD! but i'd want to have a sultry voice, something bluesy. not pop-Britney style!
What song describes you best? Loser-Beck! hahahaha j/k i have no clue. maybe "Girls just wanna have fun" by Cyndi Lauper. or "Naughty Girls Need Love" by Samantha Fox ;) heehee
If you had a time machine and could go to one concert, which one would you choose? Beatles or Pink FLoyd. simple
If you could invite all your favorite musicians, dead or alive, to dinner, who would you invite? i dont think i'd have anything clever to say to the great ones. so i'd choose Jason Mraz, just cuz i've talked w/him before, and i know he's cool to talk to :)
Last question. What's the next CD you want to buy? well steve took most of my good CDs. so i really need to get ones i usesd to have. like my DMB and Counting Crows
