A Tip

Today at approximately 5pm, I observed a girl walking on the divider of Queens Blvd. She seemed about 15-16 and had a styrofoam cup and was begging for change.

However, she also had a Coach purse slung around her shoulders.

Here's a tip - if you are going to beg for change and cry poor, don't carry your designer purse.

Yeah, I'm with you. I have a friend who once pointed out that the young punk kids begging for change we passed near St. Marks had plenty of money in jewelry in their piercings and maybe might consider hocking them for cash. Same idea.
