Brief overview: We went to Langkawi (tax-free beach island on the Thai/Malay border) and back to Penang (multi-cultural culinary and cultural-tourism paradise), celebrated the Chinese new year in Penang and then flew to Kota Kinabalu and flopped into a hotel room and here I am.
