Shots 2, 3 and 6 do it for me. They show interesting angles and variations in composition. Your first shot is too dark and doesn't say anything and has no context. That would be no. 1 on the list to reshoot.
Shot 4 is too far away and there is no point of focus after the white table draws my eye into the shot... unless you meant for the subject to be the book. The 2 pple in the shot are too peripheral to be interesting. I think the angle of the shot is quite static too. Shot 5 works better vertical or flipped 180 degrees, cos it's a bit disturbing to see the guy hanging in the air like that as if he's falling down.
