1. why do people still insist on not turning their cars off when they gas up? i was the gas station today and the lady at the pump next to me insisted on keeping her car running, while she had a loud cel phone conversation. all that was missing was her lighting up a cig and we'd have had a gas station blow. i know it's highly unlikely a gas

I hate when people don't turn off the damn car! or even better if they go back in there running car and talking on the phone well the tank is filling up!

oh. indeed.. the whole getting in and out of the car would have been a topper.. or even better, smoking while they're in the car.. just coz they have a death wish, doesnt mean i should be sucked into their spiral...

so.. should i have said, "yo! what part of 'turn your engine off' is confusing to you?" or maybe something a bit more polite? i did just stare at her and gave her that motherly "tsk tsk" look... she just stared back.. maybe thinking i was checking her out, a serial killer, or maybe i just had gas.. but she didnt seem to relate my tsk tsk face with her keeping her car running AND making us listen to her conversation. but that's a whole nother rant...

oh pecker. i think lisa actually showed it once in a class? ooooh it's good. i love how that one photographer was in it. she did similiar style to pecker in real life. wow, i hate it when names like that escape me.

i miss the reuse center!! ahhh.. i just keep going to savers out here and goodwill. but it's not at all the same. there's a place in oakland i heard was like the reuse center. but i don't remember what it's called. and thus, i have no fun going there either.

cindy sherman - the lady who does all those self portraits of different famous scenes? or greg gorman - the fashion photographer who shot their vogue cover in the movie? im thinking you're thinking cindy sherman...

dunno if lisa's ever shown it in class or not... but it's a fine fine idea.

yep.. the reuse center is magic.. it is hard to find places like it.. i once found a website of places like it around the country.. try googling "reuse centers" and see what you get.. you may be surprised by what's near you...
