But then again that was like two years ago *shrug*. Totally support Obama too. Heh, if I were more idealistic and less realistic, I'd probably support the Green Party, honestly. But I don't really subscribe to the thought that it has to get a lot worse before it gets better.

/shrug. wall of text or not, i agrees with tony: it was nice to read a post by you again. and, i feel the same way a lot of the time when i start going off on something, whether it's meaningful or not, and i start feeling self-conscious 'cause it feels like i'm writing a lot/too much.
anyway...yeah. kind of (read: really) not into philosophy so much, so won't comment on Spinoza/Descartes, etc. in any case, glad you're liking school this semester. ... call me! food is good...etc. you know the drill...
1. I concur with the niceness of you posting again. And that you're enjoying school. 2. I like it when you can't figure out if professors are liberal or conservative; I don't mind when they are vocal about their opinions, but ones you can't tell are usually good at seeing both points of view and playing devil's advocate. 3. That's really interesting about Beauty & the Geek. I'm actually a sucker for reality shows so I do see merit in some of them. 4. I still waffle on who I support. Perhaps you should elaborate more on why you like Obama more in another post. 5. I like making lists, preferably in odd numbers.
