Is peanut now officially "late"?

No, he will be late on Friday. I'm just fed up. I should have stayed in work longer I think.

I'm having a sweep tomorrow morning if nothing happens tonight which isn't filling me with joy.

I don't know what a sweep involves but it sounds grim anyway :-(

I'm now definitely feeling mine moving around, and from the scan he seems to be a very wriggly baby

Sweeps are fairly grim, but given that you're trying to go into labour they're not that much more additional grim. Hopefully that peanut will be shelled soon!

That sounds familiar, it took us ages to get the measurements at our scan as the scamp wouldn't stay still.

We didn't mind as it gave us extra time watching him wriggle while the sonographer struggled to measure him! Luckily normal-sized head (I was worried as K has a big hat size). Looks like he'll be fairly tall, which we expected as we're both above average height.

Rich has a massive head that means we can only get him hats from certain places and abroad. She didn't mention ours had a big head. It is nice to have a good amount of time to see things. Seeing the flaps of the heart chamber pump was so strange and exciting

I looked at the report in my green notes folder and it had HC (head circumference) spot on average AC (abdomen circumference I think) also average, FL (femur length) above average. Yeah, seeing the heartbeat was cool. Also got to see a tiny footprint while he was wriggling about. V glad not to be saying "it" any more when talking about the baby, that felt weird.

I everything ready now for peanut's arrival? What hospital are you going to?

When I got really fed up, John my hands to make sure I didn't fall and I did a wee bit of trampolining. I was in labour within about 3 hours. Might have been coincidence, but just sayin'.

Don't have a trampoline so will just bounce on my exercise ball a bit and hope that works
