Welcome 2012
2011 wasn't that interesting. It was mostly spent paying off debt and getting annoyed at work.
But I am hopeful 2012 will be better. This is the year I get married to the love of my life and have my first big holiday in over 10 years.
I hope to look back this time next year and see how amazing this year ended up.

Blast from my past
Having been raised catholic and still having faith I get annoyed when people make assumptions on what they think that means and how they think I must view the world. Finished the gosh adventure, just need to type up and stat. Hopefully work will not be hell so I can be arsed doing it before strom.
My lovely new niece was born yesterday. Babies are not new in the friendship group now I realise but very new in our family so this is rather a big deal. I am no longer the youngest which is good as I am over 30. ( Read more... ) -

We have been informed that our rings are available for pick up. We considered giving them to his brother this weekend and tell him he needs to keep them safe until april and see if he shits himself.
I am told that wedding decisions and choices cause rows and spats and family cause stress but I haven't found that at all. We seem to have been cool ( Read more... ) -

I've only been having a moan on this really so I have turned into what a find annoying . Dang
But recent reflection ( while ill last night) made me remember I have no reason
I have a fella I love who feels the same who can always cheer me up
A good job with good workpeople
Something fun booked for our wedding
Family who are healthy and safe

Great Manchester Run 2011
As it appears there are a lot of people doing the run this year I was wondering who fancied getting together to cheer people on at the race.
If there are enough people then we can put two groups out to get them when they have been at it for a while and cheer the last leg.
We could then maybe celebrate with a picnic if the weather is fine

Today I was off work so we ventured to Bents to get christmasy. Not sure it was fully accomplished but we have means to make mulled ale, wine and cider and I have a new choc mould. Our tree is up, presents wrapped and my freezer is full of homemade truffles.

Had a really good weekend with the fella. We spent saturday buying the last gifts for his family. Had a wander in the market, meandered around manchester and came home laden with bags. These gifts have been wrapped, bowed and ribboned ( Read more... )
