Letters were important

I found the letter inside a book on letter writing called, "Gift of a Letter" on a used book sale table.

The letter and book are in pristine condition, I guess Lorie didn't follow through on rediscovering the art of letter writing (or reading about it).

you had rediscovered the art of
letter writing - that Leonila had
inspired you to write more notes and
letters. Saw this book and thought
of you. It looked interesting to me too.
Letters were an important part of life
in past society - so many wonderful
collections of letters in the 18th & 19th
centuries.
