Oliver stared at Helena on the darkened street. There were so many emotions clawing to be on top as he looked at her. Helena couldn't let his go. Not this.

"We both know that he shouldn't get off that easy." Her voice was hardened but unsteady with the plethora of emotions running through her. Pain. Anger. Her feelings for Oliver that was already hard enough to contain was bubbling to the fore with him stepping closer. "He's a murderer and doesn't deserve a second chance." But she was one, too, wasn't she? A murderer.

She shook her head to clear her thoughts before she leaned in and looked him in the eye. "I can't let this go, Oliver. You know I can't."

Oliver hoped that would at least get her to stop and think.

His last words did make her stop and think.

"Too quick?" Her brows were drawn and her eyes stare, anchored with Oliver's now that his face was no longer shadowed. "What do you mean? That I should torture him?"

"I mean that if you kill him, his punishment is over and no I don't mean torture." Oliver said, staring at her intently. "Witness protection where he gets a new name and new life, that's not punishment either." That they could agree on.

"Spending the rest of his life, his long life, in a five by five cell, that's justice. Who says that the only prison is the one he just got out of?"
