"We both know that he shouldn't get off that easy." Her voice was hardened but unsteady with the plethora of emotions running through her. Pain. Anger. Her feelings for Oliver that was already hard enough to contain was bubbling to the fore with him stepping closer. "He's a murderer and doesn't deserve a second chance." But she was one, too, wasn't she? A murderer.
She shook her head to clear her thoughts before she leaned in and looked him in the eye. "I can't let this go, Oliver. You know I can't."

"Too quick?" Her brows were drawn and her eyes stare, anchored with Oliver's now that his face was no longer shadowed. "What do you mean? That I should torture him?"
Maybe Oliver forgot that she did not take any prisoners.
