I figured, I could go the easy way, and write some more dark!Hufflepuff stuff, but this is supposed to be a challenge. So, Ravenclaw. I don't understand Ravenclaws. I like them, I just don't understand them. Now I understand them a little better.

This reminds me very faintly of Amber's story To Fly. Not that it ought to, aside from the research aspect, it's very different.

Yes, I did like it :) Research carried to extremes...one wonders, was it a victory for Boot, since he never did find what he was looking for.

I've got to admit that I've never really clicked with Ravenclaws either, I tend to make them generic backgrounders with no real characteristics. You really succeeded in this challenge in demonstrating one side of their personality though. I loved the way different people kept arriving and yet Terry continued on the same with his books.

Last thing, Hermione's last line, nice explanation!
