Yes, you aren't allowed that close anymore, right? That was one of my first thoughts when I saw these, but I couldn't remember for sure (I've never actually been there).

No, today you are allowed to view them only from a distance. Also now there's a carpark, ticket office, souvenir shop and cafe, and a foot tunnel under the road to reach the stones.
