I found a big collection of family wedding photos in a box at my grandparent's house, and thought they were kind of cool, so I thought I would share. I appologize for the quality of some of the pictures, some were too big for the scanner and a couple of them were stuck in frames so they didn't scan very well.
This is a picture from my mom's first marriage (this was her first husband, not my dad). That dress is actually her sister's wedding dress. My mom didn't really like it, but her mom had her wear it anyway.
Here was my Aunt JoAnn's wedding pic
Here is my Great Great Uncle Joseph's first wedding. I think his wife died just a couple years later. I love the flapper dresses that the women are wearing.
My Great Great Uncle Joseph's second wedding
Great Aunt Agnes' wedding
Great Aunt Ann's wedding
Great Uncle Sam's wedding
This was a wedding that my grandma was a bridesmaid in. I'm not sure who the couple is, that is getting married:
Here's a slightly closer pic of her:
Again, here is another wedding that my grandmother was in. I'm assuming they must be friends of hers?
I honestly have no idea who these people are. I'm thinking that they might be a great great aunt & uncle or something like that. My great grandparents (and the bride and groom in this photo) were in the wedding for the couple on the right, so I'm assuming they all knew eachother or were somehow related.
Here is the wedding that my great grandparents were in (they are the second couple on the left). I'm not sure what their relationship is to the bride and groom.
Here is a close-up of my great grandparents.
Here is my grandparents' wedding:
Another pic of my grandma. Would you believe she actually cut up that dress and turned it into a nightgown? :(
And one last picture of grandma. On the back of this photo she wrote, "Don't have any prints made of this one - but try to keep the proof - even if you have to bang him over the head to do so -" Ah grandma :)
