i recall reading somewhere that verizon i think gets terrible reception at stanford? what other companies besides cingular are good at stanford? i'm looking at t mobile right now, it looks like it might be cheaper than cingular, but i'm not sure if i'll get good coverage, which would be completely useless

i hate to say this because Sprint has annoyed me a lot over the years, but their coverage on campus was actually pretty darn good.

I use T Mobile. In general, it sucks, and you're lucky to get half-reception in most places. T Mobile will also only work inside if you're on the third floor or higher. Forget about trying to talk to people on the phone if you don't live on the third floor.

thanks, i was just about to go with t mobile because it's about 10 bucks cheaper a month, but maybe not.
