Visiting Stanford

Hi everyone! I'm visiting Stanford this weekend and was wondering what places I should not miss. I'd love suggestions for great places to visit and eat. Highlights of campus...etc... Thank you!

The Thai café on the bottom floor of Jordan Hall (Building 420) is pretty good and cheap. They're open for lunch only.

If you have some time, you should definitely visit the Cantor Arts Center on campus. They have some amazing sculptures by Rodin.

I second The Thai cafe, but if you don't make it there, the Treehouse has some pretty good food.

I personally love walking around Meyer Library because of the red fountain, and the various art structures surrounding it. The timetable at the the Science and Engineering Quad is pretty cool. Memorial Church is a must. If you go deeper into campus, you should definitely go by the Knoll. I passed by it over the weekend at night and it looked like a castle. There's small places here and there that I enjoy walking past every once in a while. If it's possibly, just roam around on foot and you'll run into some cool places.

Have a good time!

Hobee's. The closest to campus is in Town & Country Plaza.

House tea and a piece of coffee cake. I usually get one of the scrambles, but the black bean chili is great too.

Country Gourmet for breakfast/brunch in Mountain View. Or is it Sunnyvale... I forget, but just head south on El Camino and it's on your left. It's better than Hobee's or Stacks in Menlo Park for sure.
